CHARLOTTE — The Panthers placed another player on reserve/COVID-19, hours after clearing most of the list.
Yetur Gross-Matos was placed on the list Wednesday afternoon.
The second-year defensive end has 3.5 sacks this season, including 2.5 at Buffalo, as he began showing what he could do in a larger role. He offers a bigger body up front, and that can help with the run defense.
The Panthers removed pass-rusher Haason Reddick from the list, among other players Wednesday morning. Gross-Matos and defensive tackle Phil Hoskins are the only two players left there from the active roster.
