PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Panthers added some more backfield depth, and a reliable return option Tuesday, agreeing to terms to bring Raheem Blackshear back on a one-year deal.
The 26-year-old Blackshear's carried the ball 52 times for 203 yards and three touchdowns in three seasons here but has also been a reliable return man.
His 791 kick return yards were the second-most in the league last year, and he averaged 8.5 yards per punt return as well.
The Panthers signed him off the Bills practice squad in 2022, and he's been here ever since. He entered the league as an undrafted rookie after playing at Rutgers and Virginia Tech.
