CHARLOTTE — The Panthers got a seventh rookie under contract Thursday, as seventh-rounder Phil Hoskins signed his four-year rookie deal.
The defensive tackle from Kentucky (chosen 232nd overall) was the final of the team's 11 picks in this year's draft.
And with the team opening rookie minicamp tomorrow, they only have four unsigned picks — first-rounder Jaycee Horn, second-rounder Terrace Marshall Jr., and third-rounders Brady Christensen and Tommy Tremble.
Hoskins played in 31 games for the Wildcats, with 7.5 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder (nicknamed "Big Snacc") adds some depth to the interior defensive line along with fifth-rounder Daviyon Nixon, who was among the other six players to sign Thursday.
