The Panthers on Wednesday officially signed wide receiver Keith Kirkwood to a one-year contract.
Kirkwood entered the NFL in 2018 with New Orleans as an undrafted free agent out of Temple.
Prior to missing most of last season with a hamstring injury, Kirkwood appeared in eight games as rookie for the Saints. That season, he caught 13 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns. He also scored a touchdown in the Saints' playoff game against the Eagles.
A native of Neptune City, N.J., Kirkwood played at Temple for three seasons after transferring from Hawaii. While with the Owls, he had 103 receptions for 1,638 yards and 16 touchdowns.
