CHARLOTTE - The Carolina Panthers signed LB Ramik Wilson to the active roster on Wednesday. Wilson took the spot opened after the Panthers waived WR Greg Dortch on Tuesday afternoon.
Wilson was drafted by Kansas City in 2015, where he played three seasons, tallying 111 tackles, four fumble recoveries and two touchdowns. He played one season for the Los Angeles Rams in 2018 and was mostly recently with Arizona this season. A Tampa, Fla. native, Wilson was an All-SEC selection out of Georgia.
Carolina signed another Wilson on Wednesday, inking WR/KR Bobo Wilson to the practice squad. An undrafted free agent out of Florida State in 2017, Wilson played in three seasons with Tampa Bay where he had 15 punt returns in 2019 and 10 kickoff returns in 2018.
