CHARLOTTE — The Panthers placed offensive lineman Trent Scott on the league's reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.
Players who are vaccinated are eligible to return as soon as they have two negative tests with 24 hours between them, as long as they remain asymptomatic.
Scott has started four games this year, all at right guard in the place of injured starter John Miller.
The Panthers have used eight different combinations of starting offensive linemen in 12 games this year.
Also Monday, the Panthers designated tackle Cameron Erving to return from injured reserve. He's now clear to practice, and can be activated to the 53-man roster any time in the next 21 days.
