CHARLOTTE — The Panthers brought back some offensive line depth they're familiar with, as well as a familiar name.
The team signed guard Michael Jordan to the practice squad.
He spent the first four weeks on the active roster after being claimed off waivers from the Bengals, but was waived Monday to make room for linebacker Kamal Martin.
Jordan, originally a fourth-round pick from Ohio State, started 19 games the last two years for Cincinnati.
The other Michael Jordan in town is having a pretty good week, as his NASCAR team featuring driver Bubba Wallace got to victory lane in Talladega, while the Hornets opened the preseason with a win at Oklahoma City last night.
