Franks was up for Sunday's opener to cover the injury related shortage at the position, playing mostly on special teams.

The group of players who were in camp here includes quarterback Jack Plummer, tight end Jordan Matthews, and running back Mike Boone.

The team used the first spot in waiver order with vigor, and brought in three new cornerbacks, a pass-rusher, a linebacker, and a guard.

The team placed two on injured reserve (who can return this season), and made a number of moves to get to the roster limit Tuesday.

The team added former Vols standout Aaron Beasley, and waived-injured offensive lineman Badara Traore.

The team sent rookie linebacker Michael Barrett to Seattle in exchange for some depth they needed in the secondary.
