CHARLOTTE — The Panthers placed two more players on the reserve/COVID list Wednesday, further compromising their defense for this week's game against the Saints.
The Panthers placed outside linebacker Haason Reddick and reserve quarterback P.J. Walker on the list Wednesday.
They did activate offensive linemen Pat Elflein and Dennis Daley from the COVID-19 list, so they do have a center this week.
But they have major holes on defense this week, since defensive ends Brian Burns and Marquis Haynes Sr. and linebacker Shaq Thompson went on the list earlier this week, along with defensive tackle Phil Hoskins.
The Panthers got defensive end Austin Larkin back on the practice squad after his stint on the COVID-19 list. They also signed kicker Blake Haubeil to the practice squad. The former Ohio State kicker was in Titans camp this summer.
