Week 8 Thursday Injury Report: Andy Dalton still out

CHARLOTTE — Panthers quarterback Andy Dalton was out of practice Thursday for the second straight day because of a right thumb injury following a car accident.

He was one of seven players not participating Thursday as they prepared for the Broncos, along with cornerback Dane Jackson (hamstring), wide receiver Diontae Johnson (rib), safety Jammie Robinson (knee), safety Nick Scott (hamstring), outside linebacker D.J. Wonnum (quadriceps), and kicker Eddy Piñeiro (not injury related/personal).

Defensive end A'Shawn Robinson (knee) was back as a limited participant Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice, and safety Sam Franklin Jr. (not injury-related/personal/foot) was a full participant after he was out Wednesday.

Also listed as limited Thursday were running back Jonathon Brooks (knee), linebacker Claudin Cherelus (hamstring), safety Jordan Fuller (hamstring), linebacker Josey Jewell (hamstring/groin), right tackle Taylor Moton (elbow), tackle Yosh Nijman (knee), tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (groin/wrist), wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring), and tight end Tommy Tremble (back).

Outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (shoulder) was a full participant for the second straight day.

Also full on Thursday were running back Raheem Blackshear (shoulder), defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy (ankle), and linebacker Jon Rhattigan (knee).
