CHARLOTTE — Defensive tackle Zach Kerr and left tackle Russell Okung are both inactive for Thursday's game against the Falcons. Both players missed all three days of practice during the short week.
Kerr was listed as questionable with a toe injury, and rookie defensive tackle Bravvion Roy will start in his place. The sixth-round pick out Baylor has played six of Carolina's seven games this season, recording between 15-19 snaps in each contest.
Okung was listed as doubtful with a calf injury. He left the Week 7 matchup in New Orleans in the third quarter with the injury and did not return.
Greg Little will start at left tackle in Okung's place. This is Little's third start of the season for Okung, the previous two coming in Weeks 3 and 4. In those games, Little rotated in with Trent Scott and that may happen again Thursday.
Carolina's three other questionable players, right guard John Miller (ankle), defensive end Marquis Haynes (knee), and defensive end Efe Obada (back), are active. Miller missed Sunday's contest with his ankle injury but will start at right guard.
PJ Walker will serve as the backup quarterback to Teddy Bridgewater for the third straight game and fourth time this season.
Carolina elevated wide receiver Marken Michel, defensive back Natrell Jamerson, and offensive lineman Mike Horton from the practice squad for the game as COVID-19 replacements. Jamerson and Michel are active.
