CHARLOTTE — Wide receivers Diontae Johnson and Adam Thielen are among six listed as out, and three Panthers players are listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Johnson (rib) has not practiced this week, while Thielen (hamstring) did some work Wednesday and Thursday before he was out Friday.
Also listed as out are safeties Jammie Robinson (knee), Nick Scott (hamstring), and Jordan Fuller (hamstring), along with outside linebacker D.J. Wonnum (quadriceps).
Quarterback Andy Dalton (right thumb) leads the list of doubtful players. He did not practice this week. They're waiting to see if he could return to back up Bryce Young, who will start this week.
Also doubtful are running back Jonathon Brooks (knee) and cornerback Dane Jackson (hamstring).
Thielen, Fuller, Wonnum, and Brooks have not been activated to the 53-man roster, but have practiced this week.
Kicker Eddy Piñeiro (not injury related/personal) was not present Friday, but has no injury status for the game. Nine other players are listed as questionable.
