CHARLOTTE — The Panthers went through the week with a handful of starters out of practice because of injuries, and their inactive list Sunday reflects that.
Starting outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (shoulder), right tackle Taylor Moton (foot), linebacker Josey Jewell (hamstring/groin), and tight end Tommy Tremble (concussion) are all inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons.
Also inactive are backup center Andrew Raym (concussion), guard Jarrett Kingston, and cornerback Shemar Bartholomew.
Being inactive halts Moton's consecutive start streak at 104 games and his consecutive games played streak at 120.
The Panthers promoted veteran outside linebacker Marquis Haynes Sr. to the 53-man roster and activated tight end Ian Thomas on Saturday to help fill in some of the blanks. They also promoted defensive tackle T.J. Smith and offensive tackle Brandon Walton from the practice squad to help add depth.
