CHARLOTTE — The Panthers added three new names to the injury report Thursday, and three players saw their statuses improve.

Running back/returner Raheem Blackshear and right tackle Taylor Moton did not participate Thursday, but neither were because of injury reasons. Blackshear was out for personal reasons, while Moton's was simply a rest day (for a guy who has started 100 straight games and hasn't missed a snap in six-plus years).

Linebacker Josey Jewell (groin) was also added to the report as a limited participant after he wasn't listed on Wednesday.

Punter Johnny Hekker (back) and outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (ankle) were back as limited participants Thursday after they did not participate Wednesday.

Backup tackle Yosh Nijman (tibia) was upgraded from limited to full participation, while guards Robert Hunt (shoulder) and Damien Lewis (groin) were listed as limited for the second straight day, along with tight end Tommy Tremble (hamstring/back).
