CHARLOTTE — The Panthers had a lengthy list of players not participating Wednesday, but the good news is that most of them were rest days or not injury-related.
Rookie tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (neck) and wide receiver Jalen Coker (quadriceps) were held out of practice as the team prepared for this week's game against the Buccaneers.
They were joined by a group of veterans who were getting rest days, including Jadeveon Clowney, Adam Thielen, A'Shawn Robinson, and Josey Jewell. Special teamer Lonnie Johnson was out for personal reasons.
Outside linebackers D.J. Wonnum (hamstring) and Amaré Barno (knee) were listed as limited on Wednesday, along with cornerback Caleb Farley (shoulder).
Defensive end LaBryan Ray (hand) was listed as a full participant.
