CHARLOTTE — The Panthers were without three starters in practice Wednesday, but they've had worse injury reports this year.
Left guard Damien Lewis (illness) was held out as they prepare for this week's game against the Chiefs, along with outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (knee) and defensive end A'Shawn Robinson (not injury-related, rest).
Running back Miles Sanders (ankle) was also held out Wednesday after he was injured in Germany.
Left tackle Ikem Ekwonu (ankle) was back on a limited basis after missing the previous two weeks. Also limited on Wednesday were Amaré Barno (knee), Jaycee Horn (calf), LaBryan Ray (hand), Adam Thielen (hamstring), and Xavier Woods (shoulder).
Jonathon Brooks (knee) and DJ Johnson (concussion) were listed as full participants on Wednesday.
