- Christian McCaffrey played only 64 percent of the snaps after leaving the game with an ankle injury in the second half. It marked his fewest snaps since the 2018 season finale where he only played the first series.
- Mike Davis played 24 snaps in McCaffrey's place, registering nine touches for 75 yards in those 24 snaps.

- Rasul Douglas played 53 snaps at cornerback, while rookie Troy Pride Jr. played the other eight. Pride had started in Week 1 while Douglas came off the bench for the injured Jackson.
- Tahir Whitehead played just 72 percent of the snaps at middle linebacker as the Panthers went to different formations with Corn Elder (28 percent) as an additional player in the secondary.
- Zach Kerr played 43 snaps at defensive tackle and had a QB hit in the place of the injured Kawann Short.
