CHARLOTTE -- The Panthers have signed undrafted rookie tight end Jason Reese, who was recently waived by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Reese, 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, finished his four-year career at Missouri with 29 receptions for 369 yards and five touchdowns.
Carolina signed Reese after waiving wide receiver Fred Ross with an injury designation. Ross, a priority undrafted free agent signing in 2017, has struggled to stay healthy since entering the league.
