LANDOVER, Md. - The Panthers' inactive list contained no surprises, with five players inactive for the second consecutive week and two injured players joining them on the list.
Tight end Greg Olsen isn't on the list for the first time since Week 2. He's back in the lineup after a relatively speedy recovery from a foot injury. Wide receiver Damiere Byrd (ankle) and linebacker Andre Smith (hamstring) were active last week but were ruled out Friday with injuries.
The repeat inactives include defensive ends Marquis Haynes and Bryan Cox Jr., who will again sit out with Efe Obada active as the fourth defensive end for the third consecutive game.
For Washington, two of Alex Smith's favorite underneath weapons are inactive - receiver Jamison Crowder and running back Chris Thompson.
