MUNICH, Germany — The Panthers are going to wait another two weeks to put rookie running back Jonathon Brooks on the field.
Brooks was among the team's seven inactives for Sunday's game against the Giants.
He's practiced the last three weeks and has looked good, but they chose to hold him back until after the bye week as he continues to recover from last year's ACL tear.
Also inactive Sunday were Ikem Ekwonu, Jammie Robinson, Shemar Bartholomew, Charles Harris, Tommy Tremble, and Jaden Crumedy.
Robinson returned to the United States Sunday morning to deal with a personal matter.
The Panthers activated outside linebacker D.J. Wonnum and safety Jordan Fuller Saturday, and Wonnum will be making his season debut. Cornerback Caleb Farley and wide receiver Deven Thompkins were promoted from the practice squad this week to add depth.
