CHARLOTTE — Chuba Hubbard is headed to the NFL draft stage.
The Carolina Panthers running back will announce the Day 2 picks (rounds 2 and 3) for the club in the upcoming 2025 NFL draft, set to kick off next week in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Muhsin Muhammad II announced the Panthers third-round pick on stage at last year's draft in Detroit.

Hubbard is one of six active players that will be announcing his club's picks on the Friday show. In total, the league announced 40 Legends and Active players will take to the podium to share who their respective team is selecting in the second and third rounds.
The Panthers hold one pick in each of the rounds (No. 57 overall and No. 74 overall). In total, Carolina has nine picks, including eight in the first five rounds. Their total picks are as follows:
- Rd. 1, No. 8 overall
- Rd. 2, No 57 overall (from Rams)
- Rd. 3, No. 74 overall
- Rd. 4, No. 111 overall
- Rd. 4, No. 114 overall (from Cowboys)
- Rd. 5, No. 140 overall (from Giants)
- Rd. 5, No. 146 overall
- Rd. 5, No. 163 overall (from Ravens)
- Rd. 7, No. 230 overall (from Cardinals)
Hubbard was drafted by the Panthers in the fourth round of the 2021 draft out of Oklahoma State. He has 3,175 rushing yards in his four-year career thus far, and 22 touchdowns, with an additional 749 yards receiving and two touchdowns through the air. The running back was a work horse for the Panthers in 2024, picking up his first 1,000-plus yard season (1,195 total rushing) and 10 touchdowns on the ground.
The Panthers rewarded Hubbard with a new contract through 2028.

The NFL Draft is set to start on Thursday, April 24 in Green Bay. It will be aired on ESPN and NFL Network. Round two and three will take place on Friday, with rounds four through seven finishing up on Saturday.
