CHARLOTTE — The Panthers made a number of practice squad transactions Tuesday to account for some recent injuries.

Tight end Stephen Sullivan and running back Dillon Johnson were placed on the practice squad/injured list.

The team also released safety Alex Cook and wide receiver Sam Pinckney from the practice squad.

To backfill those spots, the team signed running back Emani Bailey, wide receiver T.J. Luther, and tight end Dominique Dafney to the practice squad and brought back outside linebacker Thomas Incoom to the practice squad.

Dafney's a Charlotte native who played at Iowa and Indiana State and has spent time with the Colts, Packers, Broncos, Buccaneers, and in the UFL. He's appeared in 15 NFL games, with four catches for 60 yards and a touchdown.

Bailey, an undrafted rookie from TCU, spent time on the Chiefs practice squad this year.

Luther, who played at Wofford and Gardner-Webb, has spent time with the Jets, Patriots, Steelers, and Packers.

Incoom has been here most of the season, appearing in seven games, primarily on special teams.
