SPARTANBURG — The Panthers added a second linebacker in as many days.
The Panthers claimed linebacker Nate Hall off waivers from the Texans. He takes the roster spot of safety JT Ibe, who was waived earlier in the day.
He went to camp with the Cowboys in 2019 as an undrafted rookie from Northwestern. He has also spent time with the Bills and Texans, and appeared in 10 games for Houston last year.
The Panthers also signed linebacker Jonathan Celestin Monday, giving them some cover while veteran Shaq Thompson recovers from a minor lower-body injury.
