Panthers announce front office positions

CHARLOTTE — With a busy offseason of acquisitions behind them, the Panthers have also made some changes to the scouting and football staff.

The front office has a new look under general manager Scott Fitterer, who made a number of additions to the personnel staff.

Along with bringing in assistant GM Dan Morgan, the Panthers have updated the titles of a number of existing staffers, with Pat Stewart promoted to vice president of player personnel.

The Panthers have also moved EJ Barthel from his coaching assistant role to pro scout, and hired Cole Spencer as the new director of college scouting. Longtime college scout Jeff Morrow is now senior personnel executive.

Cornerbacks coach Evan Cooper has added director of player evaluation to his title as well.

The Panthers also added new national scouts Jared Kirksey and Tyler Ramsey, along with area scout Jon Howard, scouting coordinator Samantha Diamond, and scouting assistants David Cobb and Corey Fuller.
