After Sunday's Super Bowl wrapped up the 2020 season, draft prognosticators jumped full steam into their next editions of mock drafts.
Here's a look at projections from six media outlets:
This week saw the majority of mocks projecting one of the top tier quarterbacks to the Panthers.
Both NFL.com's Lance Zierlein and PFF's Michael Renner had the Panthers trading up to take Zach Wilson and Justin Fields, respectively. Others had Carolina staying at the eighth spot and picking either Trey Lance (ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr., and Sporting News' Vinnie Iyer) or Mac Jones (CBS Sports' Ryan Wilson).
Kyle Crabbs of The Draft Network mocked a trade with later picks and a veteran quarterback and had Carolina addressing the secondary with cornerback Patrick Surtain II at No. 8.
