The Panthers moved back, and they moved up again in the second round last year. And with eight picks remaining this year, they have some alternatives if they want to move.

While many thought the Panthers would lean defense with their first pick, Morgan and Dave Canales said drafting wideout Tetairoa McMillan was a matter of following the board.

Dave Canales said his ability to make contested catches, his size, and his big-play ability made it an easy decision with the No. 8 pick. And his connection with quarterback Bryce Young doesn't hurt, either.

The Arizona receiver puts another big target on the field for Bryce Young, to go along with last year's first-rounder Xavier Legette.

With a Top 10 pick on the horizon, Panthers fans came from near and far to represent the Carolinas in Green Bay for the 2025 NFL draft.
