CHARLOTTE — Zane Gonzalez keeps hitting field goals, and stacking up honors.
The Panthers kicker was named named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time this month, after another perfect day on the road.
Playing against his former team, Gonzalez hit four more field goals in Arizona, running his streak of consecutive three-pointers to 16.
He also earned special teams player of the week honors in Week 8 against the Falcons, when he also hit four, including a career-best 57-yarder (which was the second-longest in Panthers franchise history.
For the season, he's 19-of-21 on field goals, and he's 12-of-14 from 40 yards or longer.
Those 12 from 40 or beyond are the most in the NFL this season.
