CHARLOTTE — After trading away a rookie linebacker earlier Thursday, they signed another one.
The team signed linebacker Aaron Beasley after a workout.
To make room for him on the roster, they waived-injured offensive lineman Badara Traore.
Beasley was undrafted after five years at Tennessee, where he was the leading tackler in 2022 (76) and the second-leading tackler in 2023 (69).
Earlier Thursday, they traded seventh-round pick Michael Barrett to the Seahawks for cornerback Mike Jackson.
