CHARLOTTE – After four rounds of competition featuring more than 160 candidates, the 2019 TopCats squad is complete.
Nineteen veterans and 11 rookies from North and South Carolina will comprise this year's squad.
After two rounds of preliminaries, the semifinalists went through an interview process and a number of choreographed sets. The final auditions were held on Sunday, April 28 (photos).
Nicole Smith, cheerleader manager and choreographer, said in addition to being dynamic performers, members of this year's squad impressed with their track record for positively contributing to their communities through charitable endeavors.
