The Panthers will play their first two games on Thursday, before a nationally televised third matchup on Sunday, and finish on a short week with a final Thursday contest.

Carolina will start the 2020 preseason at home against Jacksonville on Thursday, Aug. 13 at 7:30 p.m. Head coach Matt Rhule's preseason debut will be the franchise's first time hosting Jacksonville in a preseason game since 2000.

The team will head up to Foxborough, Mass. for the second preseason contest against the Patriots on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m. This will be the sixth time in the last seven years that Carolina and New England will play an exhibition matchup.

The Panthers will have a long week of practice before their contest against the Ravens on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 8:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast across the country on NBC as part of its preseason Sunday Night Football package.

Finally, Carolina will end the preseason at home against Pittsburgh on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m. The Panthers and Steelers have finished exhibition play against one another for 18 consecutive seasons, dating back to 2002.

Tickets for preseason games are available here. The NFL currently expects and is planning for a full 2020 NFL season. However, if a game is cancelled and cannot be replayed, or is played under a condition that prevents fans from attending, automatic refunds for the full amount of the voided tickets will be provided by the NFL's licensed primary and most secondary channels within 30 days of the decision. If necessary, further details outlining the cancellation policy will be made available at the appropriate time.
