CHARLOTTE—The Panthers added another wideout before training camp, bringing in a player who produced in the UFL.

The team signed wide receiver Daewood Davis after working him out recently.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Davis was named to the All-UFL team this spring after he led the Memphis Showboats in receiving.

In 10 games, he caught 41 passes for 446 yards and five touchdowns.

He was in camp with the Dolphins last year but was waived-injured after he suffered a helmet-to-helmet hit in the preseason.

He played collegiately at Oregon and Western Kentucky.

His addition moves the roster to the 90-player limit, heading into training camp in late July.
