CHARLOTTE —The Panthers have made a series of transactions in the secondary ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.
The Panthers activated safety Nick Scott from injured reserve. Scott is in his first year with Carolina and sixth year in the league. Before a hamstring injury placed him on IR following Week 7, Scott had accumulated 28 tackles and two passes defended in seven games. Scott also played 100 percent of the snaps on special teams in the four games prior to his injury.
In a corresponding move, the club waived Jammie Robinson. The second year player appeared in six games this season, totaling three tackles.
