CHARLOTTE — The Panthers got another contributor on defense back on the field Wednesday.
Safety Nick Scott was designated to return from practice.
He was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 26 with a hamstring injury. Scott played in the first seven games and started four, and also contributes on special teams.
He has a three-week window to practice before a decision has to be made to activate him, but he could be activated at any time.
