Jack Plummer has looked pretty good in the first half. Led a couple of scoring drives, 10-of-15 for 84 yards. Efficient, and got them in position for that field goal in a hurry.
The Panthers were at the Bills 48-yard line with 25 seconds left and no timeouts. Plummer and crew execute the next three plays to get Eddy Piñeiro in place to tack on a 45-yard field goal before half.
Buffalo answers back against Panthers second team defense. Then on the 2-point conversion try, Trevin Wallace tips the pass and it falls into the hands McKitty for the try. Wallace also missed the tackle on the TD. Rough two plays for otherwise strong drive for promising rookie.
Yes, I know none of the Bills starting defense is on the field. But you still have to do it/make it happen and Panthers needed a drive where they made it happen under their belt.
