Peppers smiles at the crowd

Thanks to the tremendous support from Panthers fans during the #WPMOYChallenge, Julius Peppers has received a $5,000 donation from Nationwide to aid his ongoing charitable efforts.

Fans were encouraged to post #WPMOYChallenge and their favorite nominee's last name on social media between December 6th to January 13th. The player whose last name was shared most (Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph) earned a $25,000 contribution. Second place (49ers kicker Robbie Gould) received $10,000.

The 2018 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year will be announced during NFL Honors, a two-hour primetime awards special to air nationally on February 2, the eve of Super Bowl LIII. NFL Honors will be at Fox Theatre in Atlanta.
