This was his second rushing touchdown of the season and of his career. Young hit wide receiver Adam Thielen for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter, completing a nine-play, 60-yard drive (2:35). This marked his fifth- straight game with a passing touchdown, the longest span of his career.

In his last five games, Young has seven total touchdowns, also the most in a five-game span in his career. • His 298 passing yards were a season-high after setting his previous high last week against Kansas City (263). That's also the second-most in a game for his career (312 – Week 16, 2021 vs. Green Bay).
  • Thielen caught his second touchdown of the season late in the fourth quarter. Among undrafted players in NFL history, Thielen is first in touchdowns caught in the final two minutes of regulation. He paced all Panthers receivers against the Buccaneers with eight catches for 99 yards and a touchdown.
  • With his 3-yard carry in the third quarter, running back Chuba Hubbard set a career high for rushing yards in a season, passing his previous mark of 902 last season. He now has 919 rushing yards on the season. Hubbard finished the game with 12 carries for 43 yards.

  • Jewell finished the day leading all defenders with 10 tackles (six solo), 1.0 sack, two tackles for loss, and one quarterback hits. This was Jewell's sixth-straight game with at least six tackles and 11th straight (dating back to 2023) with at least five. He also had multiple tackles for loss for the sixth time in his career.

Dan Chisena 2 (3%) 17 (47%)
Raheem Blackshear 1 (1%) 16 (44%)
Chandler Zavala 1 (1%) 7 (19%)
  • Not only were the Panthers locked in with their starting offensive line and quarterback for every snap, but tight end Tommy Tremble played them all too. He was needed with the injury to Ja'Tavion Sanders, but he responded with a career game when they needed it. The tight end shortage was exacerbated when practice squad call-up Stephen Sullivan left after just nine snaps.
  • After experimenting with extra-linemen packages previously, the Panthers didn't as much this week. Backup guard Chandler Zavala got just one snap on offense and backup everything Brady Christensen didn't get any.
  • Rookie running back Jonathon Brooks got 21 percent of the snaps, roughly the same percentage backup running back Miles Sanders got when he was healthy.

  • For starters, 80 snaps of defense is too many snaps of defense. The Bucs were able to control the ball and wear the Panthers out.
  • D.J. Wonnum is back and fully integrated after his long comeback from a quadriceps injury, playing 78 percent of the snaps and leading all the pass-rushers. Amaré Barno played nine snaps in his first game back from a torn ACL this year.
  • Dane Jackson was projected to be a starter this year, but his preseason injury allowed Mike Jackson to take that job over and never look back. They tried Dane at nickel when he returned from injury but replaced him with rookie Chau Smith-Wade this week. As such, Dane didn't get a single snap this week, the only non-Andy Dalton to dress and not play.
