Participating teams included the Providence Day Chargers, Gaffney Indians, Irmo Yellowjackets and South Pointe Stallions. Providence Day emerged victorious for the fourth-consecutive year.

The Carolina Panthers, Bank of America, and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools encouraged 3^rd grader students from seventy CMS elementary schools as part of the team's Sir Purr's Pawsome Readers Program. The semester-long program encourages young readers to improve literacy rates and reach grade-level reading proficiency through reading incentives in the classroom and year-end measurements of reading scores.

The Panthers partnered with RXO to host more the 50 active-duty service members for the Oorah Hooah Classic 7-on-7 Football Tournament at Bank of America Stadium.
