Biography
Thomas Barbeau is in his fourth season as a strength & conditioning assistant for the Carolina Panthers after joining the team in 2020.
Barbeau came to the Panthers from Baylor where he first worked as an applied performance assistant, working with athlete performance readiness technologies across all sports while also working part-time with football (2017-18), and then with head strength & conditioning coach Jeremy Scott as the football program's athletic performance coach (2019).
Prior to Baylor, Barbeau was the head Olympic strength & conditioning coach at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire (2016-17). He also spent two years as the strength & conditioning coach at College Durocher Saint-Lambert, a prep school in Montreal, Canada.
Barbeau earned his bachelor's degree in education at McGill University in Montreal (2016) where he played basketball. He then earned his master's degree in exercise physiology from Baylor (2018).
