Elijah Hood: Hometown Hero
Come along as running back Elijah Hood returns to Charlotte Catholic High School.

Panthers running back Elijah Hood visits Charlotte Catholic High School, where he was named North Carolina High School Player of the Year as a senior in 2013. Hood finished his high school career with 8,981 rushing yards and 147 touchdowns.



"The Stat Board" where athletes are able to view their individual stats throughout the year.








Hood runs into Charlotte Catholic guard Malik McGown, who has verbally committed to play at North Carolina in 2020. After Hood's career at Catholic, he played for the Tar Heels.


Hood's father, Vee, was a running back at Catholic in 1989.

Hood's uncle also played at the school.

Hood catches up with Jeremy Kuhn, his English teacher back in his high school days.

Hood talks to Catholic head coach Mike Brodowicz, who was the program's defensive coordinator when Hood played linebacker in addition to running back for the Cougars.






Hood meets some the players that will represent the reigning state champion Cougars this fall.
