CHARLOTTE — The Panthers had some familiar faces back on the offensive line Wednesday.
Left tackle Cameron Erving and left guard Pat Elfleinwere back on the field, after their injury absences.
Erving was out of last week's game with a neck issue. He was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Elflein has been on injured reserve since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 2 against the Saints. The team designated him to return from IR on Wednesday, opening a 21-day window for him to practice. They don't have to make a corresponding roster move until they're ready to put him back on the active roster, but that can happen any time over the next three weeks. And since he's not on the active roster, he's not listed on the injury report yet.
Running back Christian McCaffrey continued to work his way back from his Sept. 23 hamstring strain. He was limited again Wednesday, as he was all last week.
Linebacker Shaq Thompson remained out with a foot injury, while cornerback CJ Henderson was new to this week's report. He was limited with a shoulder injury, and was wearing a green jersey in practice. Punter Joseph Charlton was also listed as limited with a back issue.
