CHARLOTTE — Starting defensive end Morgan Fox has been one of the main sources of pass-rush pressure for the Panthers this year, and it appears he's ready to go Thursday night against the Texans.
Fox was listed as a full participant in Wednesday's practice, and carries no game status on the final injury report submitted to the league.
That's a long way of saying he's fine.
Fox was limited in practice Tuesday.
Signed this offseason as a free agent from the Rams, Fox has half a sack, but three quarterback hits on the year — tied with Brian Burns for second on the team, one behind leader Haason Reddick. He's been a big part of a defense which ranks first in the league in total defense, scoring defense, sacks, and many other categories.
Defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos is out after an ankle injury suffered in last week's win over the Saints.
Otherwise, no one else on the team has an injury status for the game.
Rookie cornerback Jaycee Horn was added to the list Wednesday with a back issue, but he was a full participant and has no game status.
