CHARLOTTE — The Panthers still have a short injury report for this time of year, and got one player back on Thursday while another one missed practice.
Defensive back Myles Hartsfield (wrist) returned to full participation Thursday, after he was held out of practice Wednesday.
He's still working his way from his injury in the opener, and wearing protective padding. But he's played in the last three games, starting in their nickel package.
Veteran right guard John Miller (ankle) did not participate Thursday. He was limited on Wednesday.
Miller returned to the starting lineup last week after spending three weeks on injured reserve with an ankle injury. If he's not able to go, they'd likely turn back to Trent Scott, who started in his absence and played well.
Left tackle Dennis Daley (glute) was again a full participant in practice. He's had to leave the last two games with the injury, replaced each time by rookie Brady Christensen.
Veteran defensive tackle DaQuan Jones (knee) was added to the report Thursday, though he was a full participant.
