Panthers trade Jonathan Mingo to Dallas

CHARLOTTE—The Carolina Panthers have added another pick to their 2025 draft stock, after a trade on Tuesday.

The Panthers traded second year receiver Jonathan Mingo and a 2025 seventh-round pick to the Dallas Cowboys. In return, the Panthers will receive the Cowboys fourth round pick for 2025.

Mingo was drafted in the second round (No. 39 overall) in the 2023 NFL draft. He appeared in 24 games over the past season and a half, pulling in 55 receptions (on 111 targets) for 539 yards.

With the trade, the Panthers now have eight picks in the first five rounds of the 2025 draft. They now have a pick in each of the first three rounds, two fourths, three fifths, and one seventh-rounder. You can see a full list of the 2025 NFL draft picks here.
