The Panthers will face the Broncos in Super Bowl 50, pitting the top seeds from the NFC and AFC against each other in Santa Clara on February 7.
Carolina defeated the Cardinals 49-15 to claim the NFC Championship. Denver earned a 20-18 victory over the Patriots to win the AFC Championship.
"It's going to be a lot of fun," linebacker Luke Kuechly said. "(Quarterback Peyton Manning) is a guy that I grew up watching and it's going to be fun to get a chance to play against him on that stage."
This will be the second Super Bowl appearance for the Panthers, who fell to the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXVIII at the conclusion of the 2003 season. This is the Broncos' eighth Super Bowl appearance. They hoisted the Lombardi Trophy in 1998 and 1999.
Super Bowl 50 kicks off at 6:30 ET on CBS. The game is being played at Levi's Stadium, the home of San Francisco 49ers which opened in 2014.
