A player-by-player look at the 2015 Carolina Panthers active roster.
CHARLOTTE – Wide receiver Brenton Bersin, linebacker Adarius Glanton and center Brian Folkerts – all substantial contributors in 2014 – were among cuts made to reach the 53-man roster limit Saturday.
The Panthers also released running back Jordan Todman and linebacker Jason Trusnik, two veterans with special teams ability who were added as free agents this offseason.
Bersin played in 15 games with one start in 2014, posting 13 catches for 151 yards and one touchdown. He also returned 14 punts for 86 yards and seven kickoffs for 167 yards. He spent the entire 2013 season on the practice squad.
Glanton played in 10 games with two starts at strongside linebacker as an undrafted rookie in 2014, posting 10 tackles and one forced fumble. Folkerts played in 26 games over the last two seasons, seeing action at center, guard and on special teams. He had been battling an ankle injury suffered during the preseason.
