CHARLOTTE - Watch the final day of the NFL Draft with Panthers players and personalities at the 2014 Draft Party presented by Bud Light.
The party is scheduled for noon-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the Harris Blvd. location of Hickory Tavern (9010 Harris Corners Parkway in Charlotte). Admission is free, with food and beverages available for purchase.
Fans will have the opportunity to get autograhps from former and current players – including members of the 2013 draft class - and enjoy appearances by Sir Purr and PurrCussion. Play-by-play announcer Mick Mixon will conduct a question-and-answer session.
The party will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. Fans can bring by three non-perishable food items or donate $3 to be entered into a raffle for a chance to win autographed items and Panthers gear.
Fans will be able to watch the NFL Draft on big screen televisions inside Hickory Tavern as well as outside at the Bud Light Beer Garden. Other outdoor activities include face painting, Twist the Balloon Man, a bounce house and field goal kick.
There are also events within the event. The Second Annual Draft Party Cornhole Tournament starts at 1 p.m. (registration begins at noon), with 25 teams competing for bragging rights, not to mention the chance to win luxury suite tickets, pre-game field passes and Panthers gear.
