CHARLOTTE — The Panthers added a pair of players after a workout Monday, getting the roster back to 89.
The team signed outside linebacker Cam Gill and defensive lineman TJ Smith on Monday.
Gill, 26, is a native of Sumter, S.C., who spent time with the Buccaneers over the previous four seasons.
He made the team as an undrafted rookie from Wagner in 2020 and had half a sack of Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LV. He's appeared in 40 regular season games and has 2.5 career sacks. He spent the 2022 season on injured reserve.
Smith, 27, has spent the past three seasons with the Vikings after spending the 2020 season on the Chargers practice squad. He has appeared in four games.
