CHARLOTTE — The Panthers brought back three more of their own on Tuesday, adding depth to some key spots and keeping their special teams strong.
Unrestricted free agents David Moore and Isaiah Simmons, along with restricted free agent Thomas Incoom, re-signed with the team.
The 31-year-old Moore missed a lot of last year with an elbow injury suffered in Week 4 at New England (on the first play of the game), but still played a key role on this team.

With rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan and second-year targets Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette taking the prominent roles (along with rookie Jimmy Horn Jr.), Moore served as a valuable mentor for a young group.
He can still make plays when called upon, and is a trusted agent of head coach Dave Canales (who has had him on three teams now). He caught 32 passes for 351 yards and three touchdowns in 2024.
Simmons, 27, returns after an impactful late-season run here. The former Clemson product and No. 8 overall pick in the 2020 draft (one spot after Derrick Brown) appeared in five games and the playoff contest against the Rams, after signing to the practice squad in late November.
His blocked punt late against the Rams was evidence of the kind of impact he can make on special teams, and more time to work with him could allow them to expand his role on defense as well.

The 27-year-old Incoom led the team with 16 special teams tackles last season.
He appeared in all 17 games plus the playoff game, and got some spot duty on defense. He was part of a special teams unit that ranked second in the league in kickoff return coverage, and served as a rotational pass-rusher on defense as well.
The team also waived Popo Aumavae, a defensive tackle who was on injured reserve last season.
