CHARLOTTE – Guard Chris Scott has returned to the Panthers on a one-year contract.
Scott, a versatile lineman with the ability to play guard and tackle, has been with Carolina for the last four seasons, playing 43 games with 12 starts over that span. The 6-foot-4, 340-pounder played in 12 games with three starts at right guard in 2016.
Scott was originally a fifth-round draft choice by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010.
