NFL Network compiled a list of the Panthers' five biggest offseason storylines, which you can see in the video above.
Here's a look back at those stories as they unfolded.
"This is a guy who you can get the ball in his hands many different ways and quickly," head coach Ron Rivera said. "We feel like this young man is going to be able to get on the football field right away and help make an impact."
"Marty is the perfect person to help us in the interim," Owner/Founder Jerry Richardson said. "He worked with us for 15 years and understands the culture we have here. He had a lot to do with the core of our team being in place. I'm thankful that he is willing to help us in this transition period."
"I want to be 100 percent come training camp," Newton said. "There's no doubt that I will be."
"Going away and seeing something different, having that experience made me realize that home is where the heart is," Peppers said. "That's what led to my motivation of wanting to come back, missing this place so much."
"KK is a great player, but also a quality young man who has the respect of his teammates in the locker room," Rivera said. "He's everything we're looking for in a Panther."
